Pooped but still haulin'...

So the following early morning after our evening adventures,

We headed down to the Hawai'i State Capitol for Youth Day, an event created to celebrate children.  It's a pretty huge event, I'd say over three blocks are sectioned off for children of all ages and their families to participate and engage in a number of different free activities, games, rides, etc.

My good buddy and CEO of Street Jamz Werkout, this thing I do on the side was responsible for the Teen Stage area.  At our area, we had it goin on, lol.  Besides our dance thing we were doing, there was martial arts, other dance teams, cheerleaders, etc.  Here's some photos of the goodness that went on.

I know, another face, but this lil guy was way too photogenic to go un-noticed...

Fatality!

Double party showdown part 2...

Off to the 2nd party,

For this one, we were invited by a super cool family from the dance world.  "Sister L" is a hella talented young woman, and has mad respect from a number of dancers n crews because of her kindness and generosity, along with her wicked dancing talent.  But ya it was her sweet sixteen and her party was held at the good old Kahala, whew, bling, bling, lol.

Lil party favors...

The centerpiece...

The food...(Haha, yup I ate again, it was too good to pass up)...

The dessert....

It was an awesome night with great food.  There was a hilarious MC to keep the party going, a photographer (not me, lol) to capture the moments, a slideshow and then a killer performance from Blank Canvas, one of the top crews in the 808...

After the party was done, right upstairs, we had a few cocktails and listened to this killer pianist who sang RnB, pop and jazz, he was hella good.

But much propz to the "U" family, thanks for the invite, it was a blast!

Double party showdown part 1...

So I had two parties to go to,

This one for my friend's former elementary student who was getting married.  The bride n groom are both former volleyball players for the University o Hawai'i at Manoa.  It was a pretty nice venue, it was held at the Bishop Museum, so ya, they dropped some bucks, lol.  The wedding ceremony was right there on the property.

After the wedding was done, the reception was there on the property too.  The tent was pretty killer, looked very UFOish.

To hold us over until the wedding party arrived after their photo taking we had some pupu's, which ws sushi, soy beans, fried salmon, smoked meat, potato salad and shumai.

I also snapped away at the centerpiece n favors.

The wedding party arrived and there was a Chinese lion dance to bring luck to the newly married couple (and guests).  As part of the tradition money is offered to the dancing lions.

Then there was dinner, whew fully loaded.  On the menu there was raw fish, stew, squid luau, potato salad, chicken long rice, sweet potato, kalua pig, 'opihi, kulolo and rice, all local fabs...mmm.

Then there was dessert...

And finally a night view of the museum building...
